NURSING FOUNDATION
COURSE DESCTRPTION: This course is designed to help the students to develop an understanding of philosophy objective, theories and process of nursing in various Supervised Clinical settings. It is aimed at helping the students to acquire knowledge, understanding and skill in techniques of nursing and practice them in Supervised Clinical settings.

• Explain the admission and discharge procedure

• Documents nursing process as per the format
• Describe the purposes, types and techniques of recording and reporting.
• Describe principles and techniques of monitoring and maintaining vital signs

• Describe the pre and post operative care of patients
